HAPP ordering
« on: February 22, 2010, 07:30:53 PM »
Does anyone here order off HAPP in the US regulary?

The last time I ordered the freight bill was huge, I am not real sure on what freight to use with their website.

I need to get 4 joysticks and 16 pushbuttons for a NBA JAM I am restoring for a guy.

Cheers Angelo

Hey Angelo,

I've ordered from Highway (NSW) previously for HAPP gear.  Not sure if they have exactly what you're after though.

Does it have to be Happ? I've used OzStick for this sort of stuff, local, quick and easy to deal with.

I really want the HAPP competitons parts for this resto, just got an email with freight being $96 US for $90 US of light  parts.

Told them that I did not want to buy shares with the freight company, just send the gear over at a respectful price.

Wanting for a response...

Cheers Angelo

Angelo - I've ordered the same joysticks (competition) and happ buttons & cherry m/s from Highway and postage was reasonable from NSW.

They got back to me with another price of $104 US for freight, WTF!

Spoke to Highway, they no longer do HAPP, surprise surprise!

I need to ship this to someone in the US and then get them to send it to me I reckon.

Any other ideas?

Cheers Angelo

Other ideas? Yup.....buy something else - they obviously don't want your business - why continue to support them? There are hundreds of other manufacturers of sticks - why be so bloody minded about a certain brand?

Game Dude did.nt have anything in stock, thanks though.

I am going to place an order soon, so if anyone wants something let me know.

The local operator here is after some parts so I will make a large order to offset the frieght charge

Cheers Angelo

we aren't terribly fond of Happ in the States, either. Rarely are they worth ordering from, unless you catch the rare occasion when they are the only source for something.
