Simple - Always have some cash aside to buy machines, and never use it to buy anything else ! Keep saving, and when an opportunity arises, don't hesitate. Half the fun of the hobby is the thrill of the chase, whether it be eBay or privately. You miss some, but there are always other opportunities. Be prepared to move a machine on if you have to. Use eBay and sell stuff you don't need!

Pete, there are a number of Star Trek Next Generations floating around for 2500 to 3000 mark.

There is one nearby up here that is a bargain. A Star Trek Next Generation in great condition for 2500 to 3000 would be a bloody good addition to your collection.

Mate, it's easy to fix - be permanently tapped out like me so no game's affordable ever - no disappointment!  :D
