I almost bought a couple from aussie ebay, (assume they are lightening bolt ones). I would query the seller, cant imagine how it would happen other than a manufacturing fault. Must have freaked you out big time!

Yeah Greg it's a lightning bolt one for my FT-man I freaked as it tossed the broken bat up and hit the boat ramp luckily no damage, just hoping the other won doesn't do the same thing. Will question the seller and see what i get told in return ^.^

Can you post who the seller is please Peter so others can decide if they want to buy if the issue isn't sorted?

Only one seller has them on ebay, no need to name names.  I assume parts are covered under some type of warranty.

I don't know who the seller is, and I assume others do not either. If the seller fails to make good, then I would hope the rest of the members could have a heads up.

If anyone was interested they could go check ebay themselves, the previous posts here make it very easy to identify.
Here is a search on ebay for "flipper bat": http://collectables.shop.ebay.com.au/i.html?_nkw=flipper+bats&_sacat=3944&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1313&_dmpt=AU_CoinOp&_odkw=&_osacat=3944&bkBtn=

Now that's something you don't see every day .

Glad to hear you got it sorted.

P.S - Do the lightning bolt flippers come in any other colour than yellow ??

Great stuff, it says a lot about the business when they are prepared to fix a problem. I was just sending an email (about the tenth) to Nokia about a PoS phone they refuse to repair - even though it was an odd issue and I've had lots of Nokias, I will never own one again because of the lack of follow up to the issue.
