Kiss flipper machine gun action

Or is is called sporadic firing?

Anyway the right flipper button when pressed is going apeshit when held in (on/off action real fast)

What should I be looking for?

Coil resistance, faulty diode, contact spacing or dirty contacts or something else? Thought I'd ask here first before I troubleshoot when I get there.

Yep, check end of stroke first, sounds like a problem I had.

On an old Bally I would have thought it more likely to be a faulty coil, or if you are lucky a break in the wire near the lugs.  The hold coil is the fine wire.  Faulty EOS on a Bally means the coil will not fire (EOS no contact at rest, broken wire leading to EOS) or will blow the fuse (EOS never opens when flipper activates).

i would have to sort of agree with ballywannabe. if you had a faulty eos then the flipper would be very weak or go up very slow. It sounds like a coil or if you are lucky a broken wire off the coil. What is happening is the flipper is going up then the eos is opening but the hold up winding is not working, thus when the eos opens the flipper drops down and closes the eos and the flipper goes up again and so on.

C'mon Beaky, wholeheartedly agree with me, cause we are right  !*! (I hope!).  I don't see how an EOS can cause flutter in a Bally.

the only thing i don't agree with is if the eos was faulty the flipper wouldn't work at all, but I could be wrong, its been a long time since i worked on an old bally but to memory the last one i worked on with a faullty eos (contacts on eos were totally worn down to the leaves) stlll had the flipper going up but very slowly  ^^^

If the EOS is open then the power is going through the power coil and the hold coil.  This is usually insufficient power to move the flipper at all (but if you raise the flipper by hand it will 'hold').  If the contacts are burned they will sometimes conduct some power and allow the flipper to operate but below full force.

Changed the coil as I couldn't find the loss of contact with the wires.   All ok now. Thanks for the heads up.
