Pinball Comp Book Arrives

My Pinball Compendium Book 1982 - Present arrived Today from the USA.   $#$ $#$ $#$

A great Book for sure. I looked at the pictures everywhere first ofcourse.

The writings are great and I have learnt that Alan Tate on the Gold Coast, as well as Jason from Oz Pinball seem to have very large and decent sized collections, incl alot of the DMD era.

One thing that threw me, was the age of Steve Ritchie and his brother Mark Ritchie. They have aged alot from the Pinball Promo videos.

But overall, the book is worth the $60 it cost me from Amazon in the USA who have plenty of stock.

Great book for all pinball lovers.  ^^^  ^^^ ^^^

I agree that they are interesitng books and have the first three.

I wonder if they would part with any of their machines for the prices listed in the book though?

Well worth the money although mine was a bit cheaper landed than that.

I am yet to really sit down and read through it but have enjoyed a few skims to date. Might save it up for a holiday read.

I've had the 82' to present book for a while, and its one of those books you can flip open to any page over a coffee and learn something new about the pinball industry. Worth every cent in my opinion.

Same here i have all four of Michael's books so far, and eagerly awaiting #5

Does anyone reading this know how far off this one is??  !@# !@#  The reason i ask, is that Michael promised my home made Vortex machine, and the story of how it came about would be included in the book!!
