Gottlieb - top arch metal
« on: October 19, 2010, 11:45:05 AM »
... I'm looking for the top arch metal (p'field)for a Gottlieb wedgehead. This consists of the two arch shaped pieces (one painted white and the other is stainless steel), and the two straight stainless steel pieces which go with all top arch set ups. ...On the 60's machines, the stainless steel arch piece has 4 holes cut out ....2 on either side which are so the lightglobes have room to sit up from the top of the playfield. Preferably, this 60's piece would be ideal. In the 70's Gottlieb did away with these 4 lights, and so the stainless steel arch shaped piece has no holes cut out (as there are no light globes to worry about). A 70's arch shaped piece will be ok though, as I'll just get the holes cut out.

....Also, I'm after the RHS timber border for a playfield. I'll put up a pic which shows where this piece of timber should be. .... It also shows my cat Pearl who has been the 'rodent control officer' for many years!  Thanks, Mark
