FTP Client Software
« on: January 23, 2009, 08:20:33 PM »
Hey all - been having SO MANY hassles with my ISP , arguments etc about uploading / altering my website - they have NO idea how to instruct me how to do it ( they changed the way it is done and now I am in this predicament ) . After weeks and weeks of them being totally useless - ALL the staff ! - One of them advised me I could download Bulletproof FTP client and gave me the link. I did that it worked , I thanked him and have been slightly changing my site.

So ( FRICKING TYPICAL ) of the fools at my ISP, tonight I get the message that my 30 day trial period has ended !
They never said it was trial and it didnt advise that when I grabbed it. So to save me another month of punish calls to Kooee/Soul has ANYONE got advice on where I can get a decent free FTP software for wep page uploading / downloading.

I was going to put a blurb on my homepage about the upcoming expo and put a link there tonight !!

Thanks in advance

I have been using this for ages for Coconut Island, never had an issue (thought it must be fool-proof and it's been proof against me!)

Wotto - I've been using a freeware product called "Filezilla"

http://filezilla-project.org/

Very easy to use.

Yes, FileZilla is very good. It's what I use to upload files for AP.
