Alvin G Mystery Castle Value?
« on: December 10, 2010, 12:16:58 AM »
Nug asked me to see what members thought a Mystery Castle might be worth. I'll get some pics soon and post, but you can see the game I'm talking about http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=mystery+castle&search=Search+Database&searchtype=quick

Extremely attractive game, and plays fast and flowing. His has an excellent playfield with very minimal wear, perfect translite, reasonable cabinet (paint is pretty much all there, just a little flaky in spots.) He's thinking of selling it to make room as he has expanded past his quota.

Thoughts on value??

A friend of mine here on the gold coast sold one to a melb collector 12 months ago for apx $2500. When i saw it, it was like HUO.

My mate said it was slow and a snooze fest, but rare. Very dark blue playfield from memory.

Others have said it plays a little faster. Not many around.

Depending on condition - $2000 - $2500 for a restored or HUO (as Brett mentioned)
