STTNG Gun Assembly Plastic Arm
« on: August 18, 2011, 10:18:27 PM »
Hi Guys,

My left gun stopped moving properly and I discovered that the white plastic arm has previously been broken around where it connects to the gearbox shaft. It had be repaired poorly with glue, wire and a cable tie.

Just wondering if I can get that White plastic arm bit or if I have to order a whole assembly.

Cheers

Clancy

The short Crank Arm - http://www.marcospecialties.com/product.asp?ic=03-8619

This is the same as "The Addams Family". Greg at RTBB might have these in stock.

I bought one from RTBB a few months ago.
You will have to drill a small hole through it for the roll pin which holds it to the metal shaft on the motor.

This is not Greg's fault but a manufacturing fault. If you buy the one from marco specialities you will have the same problem.

I am not knocking RTBB or Marco's, I am only letting you know so you don't need to make enquires about the missing hole

Greg when through every one he had in stock and they were all the same.

when I contacted marco's the said the same thing

save your self the postage and buy it from Greg

So I drive the pin out of the gearbox shaft then drive it back in through my freshly drilled hole?
