A few months ago I turned my Indy on for the first time in a while.
It came up with a message "Check Fuses F14 and F15".
The Switch matrix was totally dead.
I put the CPU board from my T2 in, and I no longer get the message.
But,
The Mini PF doesnt work (no motor in test, switches dont show up).
The Idol motor doesnt work (no motor in test, switches dont show up).
Mechanical switches work, but not opto switches.
Random Solonoid firing during attract mode
I put my new Rottendog Power/Driver board in my Demo Man, and the known good Demo Man Power/Driver in Indy - same problems.
I put my Demo Man ribbon cables in Indy - same problems.
I put my Demo Man fliptronics board in Indy - same problems.
I put my Demo Man aux driver board in Indy - same problems.
I disabled the audio board - same problems.
I disabled the DMD board - same problems.
Now, there is a Opto board under the playfield for Indy, but this is different to the one in Demo Man. Can a failed chip exhibit these issues?
Any other thoughts on what I should look at? I know the CPU board has issues, but I cant get to the bottom of what else might be problematic.
A friend suggested swapping transformers, though the symptoms appear more "logic" than "voltage" to me (with my current knowledge and skill set).
Anyone who can offer advice, please do so. I'm going crazy.
