Hi Tim - was a pleasure to catch up and talk pinball. Glad to help !

Elektra is a cool game. Bally's equivalent to Gottlieb's Haunted House. I good game, a bit like Flash Gordon with a lower playfield. I like all Ballys from this era. This particular game looks really nice. It does mention the legs were powdercoated, but they look chrome to me !

Legs should be charcoal - http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=778&picno=4186

Fair price, but the playfield photos are not that clear. But all the same it LOOKS great !

I have one and it is a very good looking game but only OK in the play department.  Very strange arrangement on the upper playfield that takes a while to get the hang of.  Lower playfield can be a little bit of a points fest when you master it.  My main complaint is the lack of pop bumpers!

Reliability can be a little suspect as it relies on quite a few solenoid expander boards. As long as you go through the electrics and redo the main connectors you should be fine.

Best feature is the multiball, which can be very challenging to collect.

cheers
Ian

Hi,

This game has been re-listed:

I've been to have a look at it in person if anyone wants to know anything more about this particular example.  I have decided not to bid for it.
