How often doo you play you're Pinball Machines?
« on: May 14, 2011, 11:20:19 PM »
I have a couple of games on one machine each day and rotate around the five pinballs I have.
Only play 5. or so games at a time on one machine that's enough for me.
But If I get a high score or on a roll I will play more just to get that elusive High Score To Date.  %$%
And when I play I am always looking for eney faults that might need fixing.  !@#
But overall I love my machines just to look at and admire.  ^^^
I find when I get visitors at my place they are drawn like magnets to the machines and want to play them to relive there youth.  $#$

I get to play most days, but only after my 2 year old girl goes to bed. I too play about 4-5 games split between 2 games and sometimes a little more if I am in the zone lining up my shots.

My daughter asks to play a few times a week, in which I have no hesitation, though not a serious game. I hope she gets in to it which will mean more games and maybe family comp nights - here's hoping.

I have 2 machines but only 1 playable. That dosen't get played unless i give it a clean and test it or if there is a party here or if I have a friend over that is into or likes pinballs. I proberly only play it every month but when i do play it it gets atleast 5 games.

Sometimes a few games on a few machines, but one night i said I was going to try n set my OWN WORLD RECORD and play a game on every DMD machine in the house.  @.@

THAT WAS ONE GAME EACH ON 30 x DMD MACHINES, with my brother playing one machine behind me. I didnt try too hard on each game cause i didnt want too take 50 hrs but even playing slack it took for friggin ever.    It was a long night and about 2 dozen jim beam and cokes each. I was smashed by the end of the night and was as
PISSED AS A PARROT.  **)

By the end i was drunk, legless and had PINBALL ARM PUMP. I have never done it since, it takes too farkin long, and i am sure the neighbours were upset with the noisy arcade next door at 2am.  #(&

Pretty much anytime i feel like a game or 14  :lol thats how many are set up and playable at the moment.

as my collection has grown, games have started migrating into the house, there are currently five in my loungeroom and four in the spare room, and its getting too cold at the moment to be out in the garage at night playing the games in there, so the games inside get a good workout most days. Sometimes i'll get a quick game in before going to work, and i'll often play a few games after work... bit of stress relief  :lol

Definite stress relief. I would rather spend my time restoring games, but at the end of the day I look forward to a game or two. Very rarely do I not play a game every day. At the moment, I only have the Paragon and Viking set up to play. Paragon was restored 10 years ago and I need to shop it out soon ! Viking has not been touched yet - ut jusr works - rather sloppy, but it still works !

Soon I will be restoring the Flight 2000. This will go straight into the gamesroom and I'm really looking forward to having a fully restored classic in my gamesroom.
