Good Condition Flash?
« on: May 30, 2011, 07:03:14 PM »
What would a freshly restored flash be worth? Pinpedia is no good when it comes to a flash because they are always in terrible condition! *!@

Today's market devalues this title. Supply is rather high.

The machine I restored for Tony (Creech) was a full restoration and I "think" I sold it for $1800 ish.

That was one REALLY nice machine. I'm afraid it would not fetch that amount in the current market. Might be closer to $1600 ish.

Yea, mmm, Well I'm hopin to get 1800 for mine when its done, If I can let it go (I'm proberly dreaming) but being in the state with the least pinball collectors (apart from Tasmainia) I reckon I could find a first time pinball owner who dont want to buy from expensive Adelaide Dealers that of course overprice or my dad, lol :lol
I sold a Super Mario bros to a guy down the road for $2200 (was listed at $2500 o.n.o and $2400 o.n.o in the messenger)
It was my first machine and I bought it from a guy who imported a container, I payed $2250 inc Delivery
I Listed it for 2 weeks and had a bit of trouble, They were all asking for a playboy or Guns n Roses or Kiss ect.
I thought it was terrible condition!
One stoke was larger on the flippers (had incorect assemblys!)
cabinet was 7/10
Mini Playfield 8/10
Main Pf 9/10
Two incorrect plasitcs
And major rom errors!
Nothing was noticeable if you had never seen machine before
But I believe a 10/10 SMB is about $2450 but was $2600 when I sold it
