PARAGON VS FUTURE SPA BACKGLASSES??
« on: July 23, 2011, 05:20:36 PM »
And no this is not a competition between the art work.   The paragon cabinet I'm fitting out now used to be a future spa cabinet my paragon backglass isn't even close to fitting.

Does future spa have a thinner backglass than paragon???

Next question is how can I enlarge the channel for the backglass without ruining the paint ^&^

Daniel, will check later on tonight when I get home as have both. Would have thought they would be the same.

Could it be overspray/drips in the channels that is causing the problem?

Interesting Daniel ! The only Bally backglass I've ever broken was a Future Spa.

When you say "enlarge the channel" - do you mean the bottom edge of the backglass ?

Thanks  Tony that would be great.

Nino what I meant was Maybe cut some wood out of the backbox to make it fit.   It fits up the top without the plastic channel on the glass but the bottom won't fit either.  I know my elektra has a thinner backglass I'm ahitting myself everytime i touch it.

Daniel - The only backglass I've ever broken was a poor Future Spa backglass. I don't recall it being thinner.

I would wait for Tony to get back to you, and then decide whether you need to modify the new cabinet.

Sorry Daniel, have had a couple of busy days.

Future Spa backglass is thinner and I could not get the Paragon backglass to fit properly in the Future Spa headbox
