Would there be anywhere in Oz that you can buy these metal pieces & rivets  !@#
How about the rivets - Not your normal looking rivet -no problen drilling them out, how about refitting them  !@#

They are 1/4 inch semi tubular rivets.  You need a press to re apply them.  The spring steel and rivets are available form pinrestore in the states.  There are some pinplaces in Melbourne that will fit and supply the rivets for $5 each.  I think there is a thread from someone who built their own press.

Would be difficult to source locally. There might be a game specific part number to do a search on. I ended up buying my own rivet press, a strip of blue metal and rivets. There were sourced from wwww.pinrestore.com. I know that does not help - but that's what I ended up "having to do". Hopefully someone local to you has a similar setup to create the ramp flap, and press the rivets.

You can just re-blue the old flaps if they are ok still, check out this thread:

Kev - If you have no luck locally, I'm happy to make you a new set of ramp flaps, and some rivets - but you will still need someone local with a rivet press unless you want to send me the whole ramp !

Thanks for the offer Nino
Bit the bullet and ordered some spring steel from here http://www.pinrestore.com/Supplies.html
and the rivets & tool from here http://www.pinbits.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=72
Will come in handy later on
Just a note i am still trying to order the rivets/tool -have a problem creating an account on their site -have emailed them.

Ended up using these paint scrapers from work and pressless rivets from pinbits.
Done the job and they look a lot better.
