LE- Pricing
« on: September 15, 2011, 07:31:22 PM »
This whole LE pricing on the new Transformer pin is just a grab as much cash as you can from the same titled machine, which is obvious of course by Stern  ^.^.Stern make a title and put every little extra you intend to have on that machine and sell it a price that may be between what you would normally charge for a PRO model and the LE models.Bloody hell we already pay overs here for a new pin,and we all know why that is and we have to accept that, but when we now have a new release with all these different prices i feel the whole thing is bullshit. It would be nice if Stern could knock a bit off the price for us downunder as our importers are slugged big money just to get them here and on the floor for sale.So we have the new Transformers the standard LE they make 500 but not all the same price what the f***,LE numbers 1 to 35 $8750 and then 36 to 250 $8450 and then what the next 250 are they another $300  cheaper,if i was buying i could not care less if i had number 1 or 500,and these prices are true as they are on AMD website which i am not having a go at as they must sell them for these prices.I know there are collectors out there who only want the LE versions of the new release pins but i say give everyone the same machine for the same price with all the bells and whistles included. What will they do for their next release add a band member on all the LE versions of ACDC so you only get them all on the super duper LE model  %.%.

I guess that Stern finally worked out that the home player is more a money spinner than the operators

I think the LE prices are fair.
It will only appeal to soemone who wants it anyway, if you don't want it don't buy it.
I wan't a standard le and will be ordering one for sure!
And on ACDC...damn I hope it isn't another game with a big buck hunter track or a rolling stones track. Subsititue buck for mick for angus... that would be so f**king lame...fingers crossed it's cool.

Maybe.....I'm not a big accadacca fan anyways so it's not on my radar.
If there was a Bad Religion or NOFX pin I'd jump on it in a heartbeat but I can never see a punk pin in the works.
Once again, if you really want one you will grab one reagrdless of the price..well to a certian degree anyway.
