Been watching this 10 day listing since the start. Down to 3 days now and still no bids. I thought I might have one go at it at the opening price of $1000 and if I got it it would be a great buy.

Looking for your opions on weather or not it would be a good buy if I picked it up for $1000.

Thanks..........Tim

tim,personally i would not pay $1000 for it.looks a little boring.i would wait until the auction finishes,then offer a lower price i.e $600 or less. &&

I disagree with Studley a bit here.

1970's WMS machines are not highly sought after, mainly because WMS churned out the same game over and over in a different art package.. lack of drop targets in the 70's was a real stupid decision on WMS part.. hell.. everyone wanted them.. and still do!

BIG DEAL is a bit different for a WMS game.. look 2 sets of drops!
Game looks to be in good condition.
FACT - WMS games are waaaaay faster than GTB of the same era.. this game will fly.

Trust me... WMS games with drops are like hidden treasures that very few have discovered.

Read the IDPB comments... game is a player for a no frills pinball machine.
Put it this way... this game for play will be way better than any GTB HIGH HAND etc... yet if it was HH on sale for $1000.. collectors would be licking their lips.
WMS made faster machines... id say that this game would be a favourite if bought

I used to own a Big Deal, and it was a fun game for a Williams. Much like Space Mission - two of the better Williams EMs. Two Drop Target banks and the horsehoe makes this a really good title. I sold my restored game for $1300 8 years ago, and it has not had one single problem since I sold it.

In today's market - if you think $1000 is a "great buy" then grab it ! Personally, I think it is worth $900-$1000.

If you want it DON'T place a bid - maybe a snipe bid. Sniping allows YOU to control the bidding to a larger degree. If you place a bid then someone else might as well, then it's back to you and the price goes up and up and up. Sniping allows you to set the MOST you will pay then walk away and ignore it until it finishes.
