Bally Playboy General Illumination

We have just wired a new Playboy playfield.  GI works well but only if any two of the wire (white, red, orange or green) colours is connected.  As soon as we connect a third colour, it blows the F5 20amp fuse.  It's doing my husband's head in!!  Do you have any advice, or where to look?  Thank you!!!

with the double green,double orange and double red wires connected to gi braid under playfield and double white wires disconnected along with transformer j1 wire 2and 5 disconnected all lights up and appears fine. @@^ ^&( !@#
