I have to say that sales will show that the best selling Stern in the last 12 yrs will be "The Simpsons" soon to be beaten by AC/DC Pro, hopefully, but the LE numbers and Premium numbers shld surpass the Simpsons 6 or 7 re-runs at the Stern production line ?

The best looking cabinet on a Stern is Batman - The Dark Knight (awesome graphics) best player with overall sound n speed will be AC/DC Pro, with the most liked and hardly ever re-sold title going to Family Guy (people just dont sell them).

AC/DC LE will be most desired for a while now (resale will only occur alot if pop up/down targets make the game slow), otherwise people will hold them. Most over-rated game I reckon is Spiderman (sorry, i found it so boring). A Stern that needed less cost cutting is Avatar with one lousy ramp, but theme n sounds get there just.

Iron man, most surprising when u play it compared to when u just look at it. Looks better than u think it will play, but play is better than expected.

Tron is very very hard to decide on, hard to work out if great or dead, Lord of the Rings so dam dark, Shrek sold only small amounts cause what 12 yr old kid has $6500 but a beautiful looking game. Best looking LE is Tron so far.

Best Stern ever in the last 12 years, fun wise, because of Audio, will be AC/DC. BUT BUT BUT I am hoping the next few Sterns will be BIGGER N BETTER again, cause thats going to be great for everyone in Pinball.  I reckon we are due for a kick ass sci-fi space style pinball machine, and space meaning dark and action packed, warcraft meets star wars or startrek or Stargate or something really out there like Halo meets Aliens. We need a kick ass sci-fi pinny.
Anyone else think we are overdue for a title like this ?  or if u want zombies, we need viscious, nasty, blood curdling hard core GORE.
Yes, we need a title that is hard n fast n really in ya face ?

LOTR!
TRON LE
Transformers LE

I havent played them all.  Im seeing Ironman on many posts above.  Will need to play that next.  Is it really in the top 3?

I too played Spiderman twice and walked away to play others.  Its a Tron playfield layout.  Had a chance to buy a good one.  Passed.  Dont like the movie sound bits.  I do like the post between the flippers.

So IM really?

yep. apparently Iron Man is pretty good. I only had a quick one game so i am nowhere near able to really put up a decent comment til i play it more. but i liked it alot more than spiderman ?  all these machines give a beter performance in my view with the audio cranked up, and alot of games onsite just dont have the audio up enough to really enjoya game to its potential.

audio plus loud equals much better game in my opinion.  my neighbours will hate me when AC/DC arrives and gets CRANKED right up. lol  %.% %.%

Played Transformers for the first time today. One minor flaw I didn't like was that the ball took ages to escape from the pop bumpers - far too lonnnnnnnnng. Other than that, the game had some good shots.
I've only played TSPP, LOTR, POTC, CSI & Elvis.
None of Stern's licensed themes appeal to me, so I can't see myself owning one.
Hope ACDC lives up to be a great title for Stern.

I own the following Sterns all bought NIB and this is how I rate them:

LOTR LE
Spiderman
Transformers Le Decepticon
Tron LE
POTC
TSPP
Avatar LE
ACDC BIB (coming soon)

There is no preference of top to bottom - all games are unique and enjoyed accordingly!

Love playing Avatar Le for some reason -sound, shaker its underated!
Tron Le is a flowing game with its awesome ramps and lighting + music!
Lotr Le - Awesome package all round!
Tspp - very deep , heaps of stuff, modes etc - played this one the most out of collection
Potc - All visitors are attracted to it like a magnet - Nice package  I love it!
SM - Played it tonight and thought what a top game - going nowhere!
TF LE - Had visitors last night and had a comp - absolute ripper from Sterns latest game releases
ACDC BIB - Might be the best game out of my collection!

Overall they are all nice games and if you told me which would you sell 1st - NONE!

there has been a software upgrade and a small upgraded piece of wire added for the newer transformers models (free from Stern) to overcome the long pop bumper times (if u want the upgrade and dont like long pop bumper times).

personally, all Segas (previously really Stern anyway) and all Sterns have always had the best pop bumper actions (known as super pops) of any machines ever built.
Super loud n super fast pop bumpers on a Sega make for excellent action. Play any of the Sega Showcase (concave headbox games) and u see just how great super pop bumpers are on a modern pinny. I think the continuation of the super pops on the new Sterns is also a good thing.  Each to their own ofcourse, but it just seems Sega/Stern have always had a different outlook to make pop bumpers aggressive. I personally hope it continues.  *%*

and YES, Mr Tilt has a awesome Stern collection and definately one of the best Stern collections on Aussie Pinball, well done mate. Excellent titles and the feedback u gave is also awesome. I hope u love the new AC/DC LE u have bought that is coming too. Shld be a bloody nice machine.  ^^^ ^^^

funny you mention that Wotto. My 2 year old son threw a rubber ball over the fence and one of his little thongs, and the nasty 45 yr old bitch next door actually rang the police, came to my door, carried on like an absolute idiot and just went stupid over nothing at all. I asked her did she want to tie my son up to the telegraph pole and stone him to death ?, I must have told her fifty times that "he is only a baby" you friggin nutcase, but she carried on like a idiot. My wife, who never ever swears, gave this woman the biggest verbal earbashing and told her to fark off forever and never come back and darken our doorstep. That was our neighbours first conversation in 4 years. I reckon the woman next door is suffering some sort of break down cause she is just gone really weird now, all the time.

Since my wife likes the woman so much next door right now, my wife strts the lawn mower at 6am every saturday morning, right next to her bedroom window now, and lets it run flat out for 20 minutes, for nothing, whilst my wife hangs out the washing ! lol. Yes, she should have never abused my 2 yr old son in front of my wife. Big Mistake.lol

Can the world get any friggin weirder ?

Ok, back on topic. Cant wait to introduce the neighbours to the soon to be loudest pinball in the house cranked right Up. Go Angus. Go AC/DC !  ^^^
