ATTENTION LOTR OWNERS !!

If you own a LOTR pinball then you will know that there is a bad flaw in the game design and that is that when the ball exits the Path of the Dead the ball drops onto the "Arwen" plastic before bouncing into the Mystery / Hobbit hole . Unprotected it will not take long before your Arwen plastic is smashed to pieces and the only way to replace it is to buy a full plastics set which is VERY expensive and that's providing you can find someone who has a set for sale .

Some time ago there was a ramp mod made by David Eisner of Canada to rectify this problem . More info regarding the original design and the reason for needing this ramp can be found here :

Well .........

It is with great pleasure that I am pleased to announce that due to some recent negotiations between myself and David Eisner that I am now the owner of the rights to these ramps .

Even better news for LOTR owners is that these ramps , which have been unavailable for quite some time , are now back in production .

These new ramps have been redesigned to make a far superior ramp to the original version .

These changes include :

- The actual material used is almost twice as thick as the original making them much , much stronger .

- The new ramps have had all bends made by correct heat bending process ... not the flimsy groove and bend of the originals .

- The original ramps had an issue with the long skinny section connecting the ramp to the base where they would break off quite easily . This has been fixed by making the connecting piece the same width as the base piece . This also serves to cover and protect the black timber rail from damage from the ball .

If you own a LOTR pinball then this mod is a definite must have . Even if you have one of the original design ramps on your machine then you should seriously consider upgrading to the new and improved 2012 version .

Cost of these ramps are $45 . Limited stocks so don't miss out .

Postage costs :

In Australia :

$7.50 for Regular Post
$10.60 for Registered Post

International :

$15.00 for Air Parcel Post

Pics now added !!

Please note the thicker material used on the new ramps and how they have the correctly formed heat-bent corners with a radius ( HEAPS STRONGER !!  ^^^ ) .

Note also the fact that the new ramps now cover the black timber rail protecting it from damage .
