Fash Gordon Stickey Flipper
« on: June 16, 2012, 05:11:51 PM »
Lastnight I did a bit of tinkering with Flash Gordon to fix a minor stickey flipper.
I cleand the coil sleeves and the linkidges as there was a lot of that black gunky carbon.
Replaced a screw that was holding the eos switch bracket as this was missing, checked the end of stroke switches and founnd them ok, but will need to be canged at a later date.
Got two new end of stroke switches from Mark.C but I think that thay are the wrong ones for FG so I will have to check that out.
The Flippers are now even more snappy than before now there cleand and ajusted.
One thing that interested me is the coil sleeve for the top flipper is brass, I have only none plastic sleeves.. interesting!!

Brass sleeves were commonly used on EMs. They seldom ever wear and the theory is you can put them in a tumbler and they will work for many more years to come ! I prefer plastic sleeves.

All the EOS switches can be found at rttb.com.au

There are two different styles, depending on if you have installed a full flipper kit. This is the more common one to ADD to a flipper kit standard EOS
