Rainy and damp week in Sydney

Here in Sydney we have had a week of solid rain, even now it is still raining.
Even thoe my pinball machines are indoors and in a dry environment I always worry about the damp air and think that is going to someway damage my machines.
Sounds a bit silly I no    
I switch them on for a while to disperse eney moisture as they warm up and check for eney problems,, so far haven't had eney issues.
Played a couple of games to look for eney faults.

Good idea. I also always have two of those water absorbant tubs around (Hippo).

Even thought the room seems pretty dry there is always water in them that needs to be tipped out every couple of months. Well worth the small purchase cost for them.

I always get the missus to keep me those moisture absorbing gel bags or whatever they are that come in shoe boxes or something that she buys.
I just keep a couple in each coin box and backbox and change them over every so often.
