wax v. lexan protector?
« on: February 23, 2015, 09:52:01 PM »
hi guys, following some good advice on AP I ended up using the treasure cove kit to clean & polish (light cut really) the playfield on my Demo Man - it came up fantastic. my question is do i really need to wax the playfield? it seems to me wax is one of the ingredients that cause grubbiness in the longer term? For home use is it necessary to protect these clear-coated playfields? If the playfield DOES need protection would a lexan protector be a better way to go or do these scratch up quickly? sorry if it seems a stupid question - & please be kind i'm new !@#
