Holiday Accomodation - Talbingo NSW

Hi Guys,

I know I know, whereabouts is Talbingo?  

Talbingo is situated at the foot of the Great Dividing range, on the western side and is the home of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Scheme.  Anyway, long story short, my wife and I decided to do a self managed super fund and have bought a cosy little house in Talbingo which we will be making available for holiday letting.  This time of year, the main focus is snow skiiing with the Mt Selwyn snowfields located an easy 40-50 minute drive away.  Summer time and most things centre around boating/water skiing on the crystal clear waters of Talbingo or Blowering Reservoirs.  There is fishing all year round.

Yep. Enough room in the loungeroom for a pinball and arcade machine. The arcade machine didn't like the trip up there in the truck and needs a small board repair now but it will be back in action soon. There is a pic of the machine in that Takeabreak listing.

Thanks mate.  It is slowly getting there.  The local steak house/lodge has a WWf machine in it's gamesroom but there are no other holiday houses with a pinball actually in the house.  Hopefully it attracts a few more people, especially young families who we are trying to cater for.  I have left it on free play as well - just another way to introduce people to the hobby in a roundabout way as well.

Plenty of spots to go fishing up there.  Trout, Redfin, Yellowbelly and Murray Cod are on offer.

For me it is one of those places that as soon I as drive into town I feel the weight lifting off my shoulders.  It is one of those places you can do as much or as little as you want.
