I suppose all the mechanisms, coils etc are useful parts.

Maybe the playfield was trashed and beyond repair ? Kind of reminds me of a GTB Force II playfield.

I love it when people demonstrate artistic flare and end up demonstrating zero flare!

Would have been a lot of work to do and the result is just so damn ugly!

It makes my old home brew "Vortex" pf look like a work of art  :lol  !^!

Seriously though, as already suggested the Flash Pf may already have been worn out hence why this was done to it.
Would only be good for parts.

Maybe this play field was ripped from the Chingy Balla Baby machine. Have a look at the Flash cabinet at the end of the video clip.
