New old Space Invaders pin in the shed.
« on: September 30, 2012, 11:04:10 PM »
Hey Guys, I received my new Space Invaders pin this week. I am very happy with the overall condition. The cabinet has only a few small marks on the RH side. The back glass and playfield are in excellent condition. The pop bumper caps are very slightly burnt and I will proberly replace them, other than that the game will be left alone. I had forgotten how good the sound effects were on this game after not having played one for over 20yrs. I have been trying to find a post about the topper that was available for this game but am not having any luck. I seem to remember that it wasnt a factory topper. Does anyone know if they are still available and where I could get one from? I have only ever seen a picture of one but they look awsome. I have attached a pic of the game in its new home. [I hope]  :D
John

Congrats on the new game - one of the great backglasses of all time!

Nice one.
From what I read on overseas forums, CPR made a SI topper as an after market mod.
