Bumper Cap UFO Led mod
« on: November 15, 2012, 02:53:16 AM »
UPDATE : all sold

I have 3 of these bumper cap UFO mods for sale that I no longer need.

They are all blue in colour.

They are plug and play light up mods which you place underneath a pinball bumper cap to brighten up and bling the pop bumper area of your pin. They run off the power for the pop bumper light socket.

The colour intensity of the ring is very bright, I recommend you colour match to a specific pinball machine (preferably with blue bumper caps).

$40 including postage anywhere in Aus. They are normally over $15AU for each UFO ring plus postage so this represents a saving.

I have tested them all to make sure they are all working, but other than that they are essentially brand new and unused.

They look cool, how do they stay into a cap?

And can they go into a Bally or stern cap?

They sit inside the cap and the wiring holds the ring flush against the cap.. I have them in several machines and none have dislodged even with the bumpers firing at full capacity.

pinballcenter did say you can apply a dab of hot glue to hold them in but I have found this is not necessary.

Any of the most commonly shaped bumper caps (with the raised outer edge) will be fine: (which will cover just about all of the modern Bally/Williams machines)

Check the cap style on your machine if in doubt.

They look much better in real life - I snapped this pic very quickly while I was testing them to make sure they all worked.
