Bally SS pinball. Which game used the most solenoid drives?
« on: March 01, 2013, 08:54:35 PM »
Strange question but I'm thinking of building a Bally test bench similar to my Williams one.   Just wondering if anyone know if any games used every driver transistor on the driver board most I can think of only use a few but would prefer if they were all tested.

Not really a strange question i don't think Daniel, i've wondered the same thing myself  :D sorry i dont have an answer to the question of if any games used ALL of the driver transistors.

The test bench sounds like an interesting little project, its been something i've thought of in the past and is on my 'to do one day' list as well *%*
would be pretty simple to design i would think  *%*

I have a Bally Solenoid Driver Test Fixture. I'll count the solenoids in that, Daniel and get back to you.

I'd say the games like Medusa and Fathom have the most - but they also have the solenoid Expander board.
