GOT AN AIRBRUSH FOR MY PINS NOW LOOK WHAT I'M DOING
« on: April 14, 2009, 10:27:08 PM »
I bought a air brush to repair PF's and BG's . Starting from scratch I found that Im not bad at this and found that I enjoyed it and how professonal the job looked when finshed. One of my mates seen my pin work and asked could I paint a surf board for him? We go surfing together all the time and said yes I'll give it a go. He is a mad St George Illawarra fan and he wanted the red Dragon in the middle with team jersey colours so I did and wow it came out great.  So maybe I could do a surfboard for myself ! What will I draw and paint ? WAVES I spose.
Well since then Ive done many , what I do is to paint one keep it for a while then sell it, they fetch good money then start a new one .
So here,s some pic's . I didnt take photo's of every one I have done but here's a few that I did.

This pix shows the word GORGAR was scaped out and air brushed green outer yellow inner looks good with light behind it.
The rocks behind gogars right sholder has been touched up with black not yet on his left.

Great work mate - I'd love to learn how to use an airbrush, but my artistic talent stops at stick figures !

I use automotive paints these dry quick, you can buy many different colours in pressure cans, I spray them into the cap then straight to the brush.
The air brush is a " Apache" brand around $100 I think
Mitch I think your into these paints to.
