15yo son downstairs with 4 of his mates for the past 4 hours which has  slot cars, Xbox and pins. I happily sit here listening to the bounce of the silver ball and enjoy my beer with no hint of Xbox or slotties. His mates have never played pins before but they now "get it"

My girls have grown up with pins....they've even decided which ones don't get sold when I get buried in my AFM....hang on, that's one they're keeping, drats!

Kids will "get it" if they get the opportunity. Kids parties end up with the Paragon and Soccer Table getting a belting. Wii sits in the corner these days.

My son saw the TMNT in the garage, and instantly wanted to play it. The 4 year old next door could not stop staring at it. There were his heroes on the side of this big green "machine".

We don't have an operating pinnie in the house at the moment, but even in a partial state my daughter LOVES it!

She's not even 2 and a half yet but when you ask her what the best game in the world is she yells out PINBALL! A few days ago I asked her if she wanted to play pinball on the iPhone. She replie with "No Daddy, iCade!".

Bigger screen and buttons, can't argue with that logic!

I SO GET WHERE YOU PARENTS ARE COMING FR0M #*#
Having taken 16 years to get our only child of four and being obviously older parents (from the 70"s) we are so into the "family related thing".
The first night we bought home our first "galaxy" we showed our 16 year old and he was blown away by the "awesomeness" of it....
We are now obviously on this forum for a reason....
A- Its and addiction
B - Its family time
C - Its quality time &^&
D - Dad is not on EBay and our boy is not on face book $.$
I am yet to convince my sister's kids (which I don't think will be too hard) that if it does not have INTERNET it is not boring....

Try the  effects of an old retro-70's pool table??? ^^^
DID THE TRICK FOR US....
HOW FAST CAN A FAMILY OF THREE MOVE FROM THE THE PINBALL MACHINE TO THE POOLTABLE BETWEEN GAMES....
Add competitive Dad to that and it all becomes so much fun %)%
