Problem for EM experts
« on: April 05, 2009, 06:06:06 PM »
Any theories with this problem.
1st senario.
1) Start game (Ball is in kickout hole)
2) Score wheels Reset
3) Ball 1 displays - Player 1 displays
4) Score motor keeps running
5) Turn power off before the wife complains about the noise.
THEN I
1) REMOVE BALL FROM KICKOUT HOLE & put in pocket
2) Start game
3) Score wheels Reset
4) Ball 1 displays - Player 1 displays
5)Score motor stops running
6) Flippers,etc work,scores & chimes work
7)Roll ball over ball number switch, advances to next ball on display
8) DROP BALL BACK IN BALL KICKOUT & continues to score 1000s on No 1 score wheel
9) Turn machine off & scratch head.  !@#
Any clues - by the way it a 2 player Jumping Jack

At a guess it sounds like the Bonus Unit is not resetting. It is counting down the bonus to 1000, but continues regardless. Only does it after the first ball is served.

Check the points when the Bonus Unit has reached "home"

Important lesson learnt today - make sure you clean ALL switches. Redone all switch cleaning at score motor & bingo problem solved. Redone pop bumpers as well & finally had a chance to play it - loved it.  $#$
