Airball snapped X-Wing laser cannon off!
« on: March 10, 2014, 01:18:06 PM »
Bah. So I was having a great game (on the way to a new high score, i'm sure of it...) on my Star Wars Trilogy when an epic air ball shot across the playfield and snapped one of the laser cannons off the X-Wing! A damn tragedy. I've seen a few SWTs for sale that have had, I assume, the same thing happen to them. Unfortunately I'm not sure there's much to be done about it given the thinness of the plastic.. superglue might hold it there but it'd snap off pretty easily if it was hit again I think. Maybe with a steady hand and a heat source it could be grafted back on.

2 X BONUS for not using StarWars reference (1) I bent my Wookie (2) the Force was too strong with that one.

I've seen a few of these for sale on US eBay.
From memory they were a decent price too. Worth a look anyway.

They can be scourced, just look at lots of ebay sites. Measure yours exactly. Get the part numbers from the manual and the toy company seriel numbers and toymakers name from under the X Wing fighter first.

My one has luckily stayed intact on my SW Trilogy. If anyone asks, u can always say its a bit of battle damage anyway.

Stay on course Green Leader ! (fun game for sure).
