Pop bumpers staying energised
« on: May 14, 2009, 10:01:43 PM »
Well here is one for anyone who hasnt encountered this problem.
Marathon would every now and then Lock on the pop bumpers so first thing i did was check the switch adjustment and tested it with my hand worked (Beautiful so i thought)

Put the glass back on and again got stuck on again GRRRR

So i opened it up again but this time i used a ball to activate the Bumper and sure enough it got stuck on the Bumper ring pulling on the ball was enough to force the Fiber yoke over so it hit both parts of the switch forcing it to stay closed.....

So if you have bumper issues check for any slop that will allow for the switch to not be activated as normal.

So now she is all ready for the boys next friday night...  Not that they will play it but he option is there #*#
