In other words, the price is not realistic... well, for us... wonder if anyone else thinks it is worth it?

Not in the current economic climate. Not even Mr Rudd's stimulus package would stimulate me to buy this !

$1,000 would make it much more reasonable.

Not that much to them, so surely they would be easier to fix than a normal pin?

Did a search on the sales on www.mrpinball.com in the US and none showed up. Then did a search on RGP and there were a few guys looking for parts. So I'd say boards and their components might be difficult to find

I've actually done some work on a Take Five, it was very basic and easy to work on.
It's part of the reason I want one, and the whole rare and unusual thing.
