Hi All,

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the self-adhesive vinyl on Williams early 80s games (see below)? I know some people replace these with real wood but I'm looking to just replace the vinyl.

Thanks, SV

Nope - nasty stuff. I normally remove and the polyurethane the timber after a sand back.. looks 100000000X better

commonly used in the motorhome industry - pretty sure that is American Oak Vinyl wrap, I did 3 years doing custom fit outs with this stuff but hardwoods where possible

check out places like this

though I agree with Retro and either clean up the original timber and clear or buy some tassie oak dressed to size and clear it.

Thanks fellas,
I know it would probably look better with the just original wood finish or Tassie oak but for some reason I'm really stubborn about stuff like this &^&. I found a place nearby that has several different wood grain vinyls so I will take a rail along and see if I can get a match.

Good to know that it may be "American Oak", that info might come in handy.
