Plasti dip and pinball
« on: April 14, 2015, 02:03:21 PM »
Anyone tried painting their pins legs, lockdown bar or side rails with plasti dip.
Looking at it as a cheaper alternative to powdercoating with the bonus that its reversible

i'm sure one if the ol' pros will let u know soon, but i'd just bite the bullet & get it powder-coated (just make sure the colour combo is right). powder coating is extremely durable, considerably cheaper than chroming & can really put your stamp on a game. get it right & it's awesome - see this CV example: http://www.backalleycreations.com/bac%20main%20frame%20page.htm

Edit: you'll need to go to "pinball mods" then click on "cirqus voltaire"...sorry, he's got a weird website (but does some very cool work).

I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.
