T-Rex left right movement on Jurassic Park
« on: April 19, 2015, 08:34:01 PM »
Hey guys

Just been working on getting out the bugs in my JP and come across an annoying issue.
Originally the T-rex wouldn't move in game and only go one direction during diagnostics mode but after reflowing the relay I got it to work fine during diagnostics.
The issue is that during the game the T-rex seems to struggle to move left and right and doesn't work right.
Could the problem be that in diagnostics it gets a more consistant voltage whereas when the game is playing and everything is on the voltage drops and the motor struggles? Its the only thing I've managed to come up with.
Any help or ideas would be great

Cheers

Hey Gruntis,

This may or may not help you with your problem. I found that on my JP that the cable for the T-Rex's jaw coil had been replaced at some stage and during normal game play was fouling and causing T-Rex to move very slowly.

Cheers,

Andy
