4 Sale: CFTBL - Tail Light Mod - Rat Rod Version
« on: November 04, 2015, 04:45:31 PM »
Tail Light Mod
$135 AUD via paypal as a gift payment
or
$143 AUD via a merchandise Paypal Payment
- also up on ebay for $145 AUD.

Here is a cool simple but effect mod as an alternative to the typical Cadillac mod - Tail Light Mod. The mod is mounted in a similar location as to the typical cadillac mod, but does not block any playfield view and actually sync's with 2 inserts so the brake light and drive light come on separately and together in attract mode.

The Brake Light (red) comes on when the "Parking Ok" insert is lit
The Drive Light (white) comes on when the "Move your car" insert is lit

Interestingly both these inserts are hard to see so this mod is functional.

I designed this a while back and have the one in the video and the first photo displayed installed in my game as it was cast from pure silver and the look is shiny, bling and awesome looking. This one is however different as the bumper is made out of stainless steel and when it arrived was not that smooth so I had to linish, file and polish and it came out pretty good but is not a chrome finish and still has a semi rough appearance when you look close in the hard to get to places but from the player point of view looks great. To finish that look I went with a Black body panel to complete the "RAT ROD" look, and personally think it is pretty cool and looks great. It is also totally wired up ready for you to connect up to your game.

I have a downloadable manual available to send to the winner on payment or head to Pinside:

You are purchasing the tail light mod from photo 2 onwards - stainless steel with a black body panel - not the shiny silver one with the yellow body panel. It also comes with the screw to fasten the body panel to the bumper (already fitted) as well as a new allen key to fasten that screw. You will need to follow the instructions and solder 4 wires to the designated locations to get you lights up and running.

Alternatively if you would like a replacement body panel you can order it directly from Shapeways.
