lah dmd problem
« on: March 19, 2016, 08:46:18 PM »
Could anyone please advise where my nephew could look for this problem. The dmd was working last night, turn on today and no dmd at all. I don't know DE layouts etc so need a bit of help. He is close to being a qualified sparky so has some tech sense. My problem is he is holidaying in Sydney so I can't go look at it for him. I asked him to reseat the connectors to the dmd and no difference. Don't know what fuse is connected with the dmd so do not know if fuse blown

Probably just a blown fuse.

Check F7 on the power supply board.

Am away at the moment so don't have any schematics but if power comes from power supply board check connectors there - they can burn. Also check fuse clips as de fuse clips should be replaced as they fail over time.

Thanks guys have passed on the info. Apparently it happens from time to time so the fuse clip scenario is a good chance
