HRP Getaway HS2 Black...
« on: November 10, 2016, 12:10:13 AM »
Hey guys,

I didnt take many photos along the way of this project. We have done a few Getaways now and this one was a little different to the norm, going for the black trim etc so i thought i would post it here.
The following are some pics after i had just put the finishing touches on the game...

I have a Safe Cracker being finished up at the moment, so i will post a more thorough thread on that project soon  ^^^

Nice Work as always, but not a fan of the armour. Just too much black for the cabinet

It does appear to have too much black, but "in the flesh", these darker versions do look awesome. If this game was slotted into a collection withe Stern LEs or similar, it would look awesome. I had the same opinion until I had the Black DE Star Wars done and it blew me away - I was always concerned about the "too much black" - but in the flesh =  @@*

Awesome work as always, Timbo !

Constructive criticism hat on - Post "before" photos so we can see the starting base to appreciate the amount of detail in your work  ^^^

I actually like the all black version Tim. Does not suit every game but I think it looks slick.

Agreed, I love the look of this machine in black. A little different and very sharp but any machine finished to this level of detail whether it's black, chrome or original just looks magic in my opinion.

That looks fantastic!

Love any trim that blends in with the original colour of the cab, brings out the playfield so much more. Which after all is the focus.

That's the key - The owner wanted it done that way. I guess when owners ask for something a bit different, we can appreciate that it either suits our tastes or not. Would be great if the next Getaway was done in chrome as a comparison.
