Pin Game Journal email addy wanted??
« on: May 11, 2009, 01:43:35 PM »
A few weeks ago I ordered a back order of an issue of the Pin Game journal. I made payment via paypal but the issue/magazine hasn't arrived yet? !@#

I emailed them this morning at the email addresses listed on there web site see (http://www.pingamejournal.com/contact/) but both emails bounced back.  ^.^  ^&^

Is anyone here a subscriber to this USA publication?? If so could you please help me with trying to make contact with the Pin Game Journal.

Thanks

A friend gave me a subsrcription for Christmas. The first magazine (which was basically a 2009 calendar) turned up in March and I haven't seen any more since! I haven't tried to contact them but it seems a bit dodgy to me.

I'll have a look at the mag for contact info when I get home.

That is the way that mag runs.

Did you have them sent via Airmail or snail mail? If they are coming via snail mail there is a good chance they will go missing.

Haven't noticed anything on RGP the last few weeks, so must be all systems go

I don't think you can get anything sent from the USA via sea mail (USPS) anymore. It's all via air AFAIK.

Clay (Shaggy) will be the guest editor of the Pin Game Journal and this may have delayed production / responses to inquiries. It is a great mag - I'd recommend being patient at the moment
Wanted: GTB Aquarius backglass. Any playfield bits and backglasses from any EMs - nothing is junk to me.

I just checked the January 2009 issue that I have. The only email address in it is info@pingamejournal.com. All other contact details are snail mail addresses.

Thanks Peter,

Just re-emailed the pingame journal at the email addy you provided, and the email never bounced back. Great work thanks again.

I will post up the outcome.

Just updating this thread, had an email from pin game journal today and they're posting my back order issue out with the next issue, so all is well.

I'm hoping they send me the latest issue as well?? ^^^

Yes, Jim has had a couple of health issues and this has delayed things a little, but all is well and you will start to to this great publication start to roll again.his subscription is always ten issues not a yearly subscription so you will always get the full amount but the schedule is liberal so he can juggle his full time business, family pinball and the magazine.  Its a great mag to subscribe too as Jim has access to areas no one else can such as engineering at Stern and gets exclusives in the pinball world.  Well worth subscribing too and very cheap for what you get.
