FT Coil still weak

Hey all - any more ideas?

I wrote up once before about my FT top saucer ( near L-I-E ) that just dribbled the ball out when 'ejecting it.
I checked what everyone said back then - still the same - left it alone.

Re-visited it today and changed the coil and changed the coil sleeve as well - both brand newies .
It is SO 'free' in movement when you do it manualy with your hand - there are NO restrictions at all.

Wired it back up  - started game - drop ball in hole and .........pfththhthttttttt.......same old DUD throw as before.

Now my lack of electrical knowledge is legendary in this hobby , only Ford Fairlane surpasses me in that dept  But I am going to ask if the transistor on the board for this coil could in any way be causing this sluggishness

Is possible that it is the transistor is crook or another component leading to the base of the tranny like a resistor etc.  But as you have replaced the coil etc, this sounds like the next port of call

Transistor could be the culprit.

More likely the wire or a loose connector.
