How Many Backglasses Will A Can of Krylon Do?
« on: August 25, 2009, 09:57:31 PM »
Gentlemen,

As the subject title suggests, I have two Gtb System 1 backglasses I would like to seal with Krylon Triple Thick.

How many glasses can I get out of a can?  I am really hoping to stretch it to two but .........................

Anyone?????????

Depends on how many coats.

I've done 5 glasses easily with one thin and two thick coats.

Thanks Nino.

Would that be the recommended number of coats i.e. one thin and two thick coats to seal a glass?

(or does one coat of triple thick equal that or would that only be the equivalent of 2 1/2 coats being one thin and two thick coats?)     %.% :D %.% :D

I got three, but I was being paranoid I think (Asteroid Annie was the first one, and I think I went overboard). Once light "sealing" coat, then slap it on!! ;)

That should be fine. Two coats are often enough
