Twilight Zone diverter magnet
« on: September 02, 2009, 07:05:12 PM »
I added a bridge diverter magnet to my TZ the other day, must highly recommend doing this for all TZ owners. It makes the game play much better, rather than a fast shot up the ramp bouncing off the diverter and then having to wait for the diverter to operate a second time, the ball sticks straight to the magnet and falls as it should first time.

It only cost $5 plus $3 postage from pinball pro (approx $9 AUD) and took less than a week to arrive from US.

Here is a link for those interested

Me too. it seems to differ game to game. Matt's was a bounce monster, but when I had my TZ it rarely bounced back. I'm sure it's some adjustment, but I never fiddled with mine as it worked. Bit seems to plague a lot of TZ's, so this mod is a good one (unlike all the pimp out mods for TZ).

When can I come over and test it Matt??   <.>

I highly recommend this mod as well.

I've seen far too many TZ's with this prob, and this is a REALLY simple way to fix it.

+1 Matt, I installed one a few weeks ago and game play has improved immensely. Used to piss me the odd bounce out. Now it doesn't matter how slow or fast the ball rolls down the ramp, it sticks

Looks like a great fix.  Simple but effective and cheap too.

have you seen bumpers TV with 3 hours of TZ clips. Might be interesting but the price is a bit out there. For that money I'm thinking of mounting a 20 inch LCD and dvd player on my TZ and still have change  %.% %.%
