Active, Neutral & Earth question

Hey all,

OK I have 3 wires coming into WH20 from the power outlet to the transformer.

They are White, Black and Green.

Does anyone know what is the A, Neutral and Earth in those colours?

They are American wires...

Black = Active
White = Neutral
Green = Earth


Another tech I used to work with used this to remember: "Blacktive" - a combination of "Black" and Active"

Green is ALWAYS Earth.
