"Special" lights on playfield not working
« on: September 12, 2009, 06:56:09 PM »
Hi fellow pinball enthusiast, would any one be able to help me fix a problem I have with one of my machines? It's a Gottlieb 1973 EM high hand, after all the drop targets are knocked down the special lights are supposed to light up on the playfield. The knocker works and the credit reel adds a free game which indicates that the "special" feature is working, however all the special red lights on the playfield aren't illuminated. I've checked and replaced the globes and it hasn't made a difference. Is there a "special" relay that actives these lights or are they actived by a switch on the score motor? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Adrian,

Clean / check / adjust the switches on the following relays: A, B, C, D & E.

Also, clean / check the 3-5 Ball Adjust connections - the power is running through these as well as the relays above.
