Generally I go with factory settings, so 3 balls for later (DMD) games.  I like the option of 1 'buy-in' ball, which I use if the game is going my way.

set my high hand at 3 ball play as the drop targets do not re-set,makes the game is much more challenging. do not under estimate the captain !
