Pinball Freight Recommendations?
« on: September 16, 2009, 09:02:04 PM »
G'day All.

Apologies if this has been covered before, but can anyone recommend reputable freight companies for interstate pinball delivery?

(I might be sucked into a bidding war in the few days trying to snap up my first machine!!!!)

Cheers.

Check with MarkC as he uses interstate couriers daily!

PS...Don't get into too much of a bidding war - lots of pins due soon!

Used RTS a few times. You have to follow them up, but reasonable rates from Metro to Metro. Call Robert in Sydney

i have used TNT express worldwide for personal pin purchases 5 or more times - interstate.* if u buy it from mark, use his company etc.

TNT gives a tracking number and u can go to the www.tnt.com.au website and track the item.TNT is very competitive BUT u must give very close weight (see manual or check specs on pinball database or ask anyone on the forum) and u must give correct dimensions.TNT can deliver to your front door unlike most pinball wholesalers unfortunately who only deliver depot to depot.fine if u have a ute or wagon and the correct moving stuff.
otherwise TNT is very good. P.S- SOME TNT depots require u to drop item off to their depot but they will deliver door to door.
goodluck with ya purchase.

Ask MarkC, getting machines to Newcastle is problematic and expensive.
