I would have been happy to pay that price for it. (If i was pre warned about it not working)
i have seen these pins go for more with much more playfield wear.
as far as it not working nothing a new board or 2 wouldn't fix (or if i am lucky just a few cheap components)
if i bid on a pin that is not working i always take into account how much it would cost to buy replacement boards, and if the cost of replacing a board or 2 (and if the boards are available) works out cheaper than buying the same type of pin working but with the same amount of pf wear or worse then i am in front.
and if i buy the pin and find out the boards are repairable then i really in front.
But if there was no mention of it not working when i bid on it i would have been PI**ED OFF
if i was one of the people who bidded before the 28th i would have asked for my bid to be retracted
