To me it does look like good solid fun, but I haven't played it much.

MarkC always seems to have one on the go.

Not a bad game at all, the hole shot is tough. Not rated all that highly, so price is usually pretty decent for a late model game.

I remember playing this on location when it was new.  Pumped many a coin into it and thought it was excellent fun.  Can understand the theme not appealing to everyone though.

Much underrated game,
Why ? I have no idea. I think its a great game, loads of fun and with the Gofers popping up stopping your ramp shots and taunting you (quite like the trolls in MM) Its great fun for little money.
I am sure you won't be disappointed when yours arrives.
Also if your slam ramp has damaged the playfield , Allen at Treasure Cove does a great repair decal. I bought one as my playfield had a bit of damage underneath the slam ramp, and it was a breeze to install and made the game like new to look at. Also if you have a damaged slam ramp the best quality and priced are from Mantis amusements.
Let us know the condition and maybe some pic's once it arrives.
Darren.

Is Teed Off any good? I have a soft spot for cartoony looking machines.

I've played a few games on Teed Off but it didn't do anything for me. Out of the two NGG wins hands down.

Tee'd Off is alright for a quick bash if you see one at the pub.  No way i'd own one though.  NGG i'd own no worries.

I really enjoy NGG, good shots, love the taunting gofers, the jump ramp is a cool idea and challenging to get a hole in one, only problem is it is hard to find a PF in good condition and the spinning disc always seems to be worn (not grippy)

Rare to see this machine. I played one at Childs and really liked it. I would love to play another NGG at some stage. It is more of a "novelty" pinball than a "player's" machine. That was my impression at the time.
